Its almost a new Annie album right? Maybe a few tunes could be that heavy sonic album she hinted a while back?

As a long-time fan, I can totally see how some people that love their music would be turned off by this. I'm choosing to enjoy them going in a new direction, while knowing that I'll probably still get to hear them rage Youth Decay, Dig Me Out, Words and Guitar, etc. when I see them live later in the year.

Has anyone seen a release date for the album?

He doesnt work that way. If we all like it then he will tell us ¨its crap¨, if we all dislike it, then it will be ¨a song for a genius¨

I'm indifferent. I want to like it as its SK, but then, do I only like it because its SK? if this was from someone else id probably say its too 80s new age trying to be punk (or punk trying to be new age 80s) or someone trying to be something they are not? but its SK and they've always pushed boundries. So I think I'm going to hold off judgement on it till I hear the rest of the album and judge it as a whole.

In a way I almost wish it was a new Quasi album. Quasi albums seem to push Janet to greater heights

Relistened to Cities for the first time in a while. Price Tag remains one of my favorite songs by them, and Fade is such an underrated song that doesn't get talked about (or maybe I should say that I consistently underrate it).

Fade is amazing. The best song there..but yeah, not even the band seems to like it. It been a while since i listened to cities, nor i feel like it. But im way more exited with the new one.

I love it. Not an album you'd put on to show somebody SK though.
