If played properly that could turn into a pretty bad ass heavy metal riff in the vein of "Push It" by Tool.stupidmop wrote:in case anyone wants to hear it :

Future Days would serve this purpose.evenslow wrote:Close Encounters but he takes the family with him. I'm not even joking. That'd be fucking great.

Guys, this is all very exciting but I'm trying to think temper my expectations because I have a hunch this artist might be more clever than the band in his interpretations. Just compare the FD artwork with the song. That disparity could happen with any of these.

They should have given the guy a list of titles, had him make artwork for each of them, and then tried to write songs to match the artwork.harmless wrote:Guys, this is all very exciting but I'm trying to think temper my expectations because I have a hunch this artist might be more clever than the band in his interpretations. Are you serious? That fish artwork is cool, and 'Ole' isn't on the album except in rumoured fake tracklists.Boing wrote:Well after hearing ole could be on the new album, that fish artwork, Balls in my mouth anyone. Fuck this I'm out

By the way, the fish / leviathan / whale artwork reminded me of this.

I think that "metaphysically" is a lyrical slip-up in that song. 'Metaphysical' implies God, and that's not what he means.dimejinky99 wrote:I've been self realised and physically redeemed.

I'm not hearing metaphysically. But whatever makes you happy. I always prefer me own version of eds lyrics anyways haha

It's definitely "metaphysically redeemed" on the song.dimejinky99 wrote:harmless wrote:I think that "metaphysically" is a lyrical slip-up in that song. 'Metaphysical' implies God, and that's not what he means.dimejinky99 wrote:I've been self realised and physically redeemed.
