the storyline in the michael scott paper company episode in which jim pranks andy the whole episode then gets weirdly sentimental with him at the end is...odd

I really enjoy the MSPC storyline overall. Though to continue the Jim bashing, the first ep with Idris Elba is Jim at his most irritating. At first I thought it was out of character for him to try so desperately to ingratiate himself, but actually it’s not - Karen is irritated by his ass kissing behavior with Josh in the Stamford branch meeting, he instantly befriends David Wallace, who seems to be particularly susceptible to ass kissing given his hiring of Ryan and Charles Miner, and he does more or less the same thing with DeAngelo a few seasons later. Anytime there’s a competent boss, he becomes a toady.

My answer for the most awkward Michael moment was wrong. The correct answer is: “Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vance!”

As much as I hate Jim, I absolutely love the subplot where he convinces Dwight he’s turning into a vampire.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

i do enjoy the episode, but the premise of jim writing a book and dwight buying it on amazon or whatever is lame to me
