I think this is great. WAYYYY more fun than just getting a tracklist, or even getting art after a tracklist.

Definitely. It does help that the artwork has been awesome; otherwise I would think it's lame.

No kidding, in today's world of "gimme gimme gimme" and instant gratification, it's kind of nice that something is drawn out and builds excitement. Not just excusing PJ here either, it'd be nice if it was anyone else

Searchlights (spotlights) popped into my head, but the black doesn't back that up to well.

Yeah, I think it might be the top of the devil's head over some background...

Also, we get individual art for each track, which should be a nice thing to watch when playing the mp3s on any device.

Maybe it's just Doritos or something.

I will be quite disappointed if these images were only used for online promotion and not on the album sleeve. Someone said they didn't want them on there, I can't remember who, and I can't think why.

I'm sitting on the balcony with my laptop and red wine while listening to The National and waiting for Pearl Jam to reveal a song title. What a wonderful evening!

Are they taking longer between pictures today? It's been almost an hour.

Interesting that it's the first one with a red background instead of a black one. Or maybe not that interesting.
