It's kinda incredible how amazingly things totally out of their control have gone for New Orleans in the last couple weeks.
I haven't even started to ponder the consequences and chain reactions these injuries will have on the rest of the league.
Somebody is going to give Jimmy Buckets the max.

Wasn't it rumored a couple of weeks ago the Sixers plan to do this?

Oh, maybe idk. There was probably a decent chance it was going to happen anyway, but if KD, Klay, and Kawhi all stay where they are there are going to be teams willing to do it to avoid striking out.

Oh, breaking news on the Miami Heat front: yesterday Goran Dragic picked up his player option, so the Heat who weren't willing to pay the tax to keep Mike Miller around for LeBron in 2014 are going to to be deep in the tax for a lottery team without any truly valuable assets. :shake:

I loathe team names that are singular like the Heat, Magic, Jazz, etc.

Wild prediction: KD signs with the Suns because of his connection with Monty Williams, but never plays in PHX because Sarver moves the franchise to Seattle after next season.

KD ends his career where it started.

It has nice alliteration at least. It could also be a name. I'm down with it.

Talking Stick Resort Arena sounds like the 5,000 seat arena attached to a casino in Tulsa, OK. Not the arena for an NBA team.

I am fully on board with MD here. I went to a game there this season. I was under the impression that it would not be downtown and that it would be part of a resort/casino situation in a really inconvenient location.
