Lowlight is sublime and small mosquito is in no way shape of form Red dot.

They're both percussion pieces. That's all they have in common.

I'm pretty sure small mosquito was used as intro music on the 96 tour.

You can hear it at the start of the Soldier field boot too, I believe....

Absolutely.

Two PJ songs were played at my wedding and this was one of them.

"Small Mosquito" is pretty clearly "Red Dot" before editing, varispeed, and vocal and steel drum overdubs.

It's a totally different recording. Much easier to do that than all the stuff you mentioned.

Guys and gals, it's not that complicated. It was a demo that turned into Red Dot, in the same way Puzzles and Games became Light Years, and countless others. . . . .

Nope. It's literally the same recording. In the "Yield" liner notes, it says "Recorded by Jack Irons at home" or whatever.

The drums are obviously the same. It's an edit piece, and it's been altered a bunch with varispeed and remixed, but it's the same thing. That's why Jack says that it's the same thing.

Muting overdubs, adding new ones, and twisting a speed knob is very little work. It probably took an hour or two.

Sorry, I missed that. Is that part of a longer interview that was cut out?
