Pearl Jam's Mannerisms
Have they affected you?
When I was younger I used to adore Ed and I think his ways have seeped into my subconscious and I may have mimicked his mannerisms somewhat. I hope they're gone by now, because I no longer think highly of the man. He's just a guy to me now. I wonder if there's some leftover, though. Hmm.

The sly smile, the grungy walk and hair, the general devil-may-care attitude, the shy, secretive, optimistic eyes and brows, long eye lashes, etc..

I am who I've always said I am. I am running my own account. Good question, though.Chris_H_2 wrote:no, seriously, who's running your account?tree_ wrote:The sly smile, the grungy walk and hair, the general devil-may-care attitude, the shy, secretive, optimistic eyes and brows, long eye lashes, etc..

Re: Pearl Jam's Mannerisms
Why do you think you felt the need to emulate Eddie Vedder?
Did you also incessantly scratch your left eyebrow while talking to people?
I started shitting my pants... Lots of fun!

Re: Pearl Jam's Mannerisms
I think I might have done the signature left eyebrow scratch. I don't think I consciously felt the need and chose to do it. It may be because I was lacking a strong male role model in my life. My dad wasn't present, and when he was I was often ashamed of or annoyed by him. But now I am my own strong male role model and if I were to choose a new one it wouldn't be Ed or any other member of the PJ Jam band, that's for sure. Maybe The National.Iholdthepain wrote:Why do you think you felt the need to emulate Eddie Vedder?

I hear that Ed is a good father. Matt Behringer on the other hand... He's too twitchy, not a dad, and may be a serial killer/molester. Be careful!tree_ wrote:I think I might have done the signature left eyebrow scratch. I don't think I consciously felt the need and chose to do it. Re: Pearl Jam's Mannerisms
I think I'd probably choose the drummer. He seems very calm, relaxed, easy going. I like that.Iholdthepain wrote:I hear that Ed is a good father. Matt Behringer on the other hand... He looks like a Muppet and does a LOT of weed... Not the best fatherly role model. Why not try the trumpet player? He seems alright.tree_ wrote:I think I'd probably choose the drummer. So you're asking me if lenny plays ping pong in your mom's garage? Sounds like you should ask your mom.tree_ wrote:Ping Pong in my mom's garage. Re: Pearl Jam's Mannerisms
I was asking if he plays Ping Pong. I figured you know he doesn't play in my mom's garage. I'd like to know if he'd be willing to play with us there, though. Will you ask him for me?JuanHamm wrote:So you're asking me if lenny plays ping pong in your mom's garage? Sounds like you should ask your mom.tree_ wrote:Ping Pong in my mom's garage.
