I don't know if this is relevant to Vice, but for digital publications, a lot of the investment fund money that went into them was from the gulf states.

Its kind of fucked up that we are bleeding the Arabs dry between weapons contracts and over priced listicles. I'm sure the Chinese or Indians can fulfill the demand for clickbait and munitions at a far more reasonable pricepoint.
