Is there any lyric about records in that song?

I don't think so I was just joking but you never know.

Yeah I thought you were, I was just wondering, that's all.

LTRP sounds like one of those old school hip hop lines. Immediately made me think of Ice-T "I'm Your Pusher."

Maybe the song will have some apocalyptic meanings to it. I don't think they'll have another song about listening to music.

Like "Hey man let that song ride" is another way of saying "Let the record play"

Maybe LIR became this? I doubt it, but it is a pretty awesome song even in early form.

Let the song protest to let the record play.

I'm holding out a bit of hope that's true. But I don't know. If they can do something clever with a title like this, I guess Supersonic will look more like the whimsical piece of silliness it should've been.

We've got religion- MYM, Gettaway
Guns-Yellow Moon, MYM maybe? do they lyrics refer to them at all?
Politics- Swallowed whole maybe? Someone said the globe looked like the UN symbol
The Environment - swallowed whole could be to do with global warming or someshit, people have been saying LB could be about mother nature
Lurve- FD, sirens, LB seems like its about a doomed relationship to me.

All these things are standard pj song topics. And have appeared on the same albums as eachother before.

If they changed post script to let the records play, they are stupid.

I only just realised thats the sponge tracklist, c'mon guys, c'mon
MYM doesn't mention guns. It's about the general Republican attitude to politics / religion though.
They're not taking direct aim at Republicans in that song....more going on there.....

As for the reveals, why are we assuming that they changed song titles? And who cares? The song titles that are introduced now are the song titles.

It's mindless speculation Coach. Like almost everything else in the two LB threads.

Oh I realise that. There's tons going on in the song and I've talked about it before, I just didn't want to write another essay; it's hard to describe the song in few words.

I leave for a few hours and no one bothers to suggest that perhaps it's not a priest in the Getaway picture, but rather some fancy pubic hair design. I'm disappointed. This song is obviously about two wizards who "Getaway" by taking a trip to a dirty movie theatre.

Excellent. I'm gonna call on you for backup when the album leaks and everyone is like "I CAN'T BELIEVE GETAWAY IS ABOUT WIZARDS & PORN" and I have to say "Told you so."

All of the tracks before these two had a sort of "epic" ring to them, like they could be classic PJ songs. They're almost certainly not, of course, but leaving that aside, how are "Getaway" and "Let the Record Play" going to...

I guess the biggest consolation is "Let it Ride", which is hardly a memorable title either.

it could be a double album that weaves the history of Lynyrd Skynyrd into a narrative about a fictitious rock band called "Betamax Guillotine", whose story unfolds within the context of the South during the 1970s, covering an ambitious range of subject matter from the politics of race to 70s stadium rock.
