So a big studio warehouse caught fire and a bunch of master tapes were destroyed...
Not an audiophile here - so I guess I don’t understand what the big deal is. All the songs have been distributed commercially and can surely be obtained via MP3 or whatever other digital format.
So they can’t go back to the original tapes and press a 1996 Sheryl Crow album to vinyl 10 years from now. What’s the big deal? What am I missing?
