HardTI wrote:dime have you watched the gameplay footage yet? it's going to be interesting if it is snoke and the voice is so dead on I cant picture it being anyone but him. also he force projected himself like Luke did. He knows what Vader is truly seeking and is helping him. all of this I'm guessing just post rots.
Nah I’m avoiding that game. The few minutes I did see didn’t intrigue me at all.
Star Wars video games are a rabbit hole I’ll never go down I’m afraid.

I’m sure you can find the answer on the various sw forums if you ask though.
Or tweet Pablo or Matt Martin ?

I'm not sure it is the best idea to judge a video game based on 10 minutes of alpha footage.

Again, having no first hand experience with any of this, I really can't say. My understanding is that if you play the whole game, it's pretty clear that it isn't Snoke, that it's someone else you meet in the game. But I have no idea personally. I'm not out there trying to get concrete info, honestly. I'm trying not to know too much because I'd like to play it someday and have some surprises.

I have no problem with it being Snoke, for the record. I LOVE that idea and I kinda hope it IS him. I was bummed when people started saying it wasn't Snoke. I'm dying for Snoke to have a firm and concrete tie-in to this whole thing. I want more of his story in some form, be it video game or novel or whatever.

A shame really. I thought the story in Battlefront 2 was more interesting than many books.

It’s only June. I’ll still be running around clueless in breath of the wild come December.
You can tell I planned this well :)

Also don’t think the dialogue in the trailer will be in the film. It’s happened before with maz and Rey in the TFA trailers. That said. It’s jj. Everything and anything could be a misdirect when it comes to anything he’s put out in a trailer.

Palpatine for example is the big one. If they’ve shown us that. What are they holding back in store? That’s exciting and intriguing to me.

It’s strange if Obi-Wan Kenobi doesn’t appear.

Really? I’d love JJ to build on a Obi wan speaking to Rey in TFA. I don’t see it happening though.
How do you see it working out?

«We’ve passed on all we know. A thousand generations live in you now.»

It would make sense for Yoda and Obi-Wan to be there next to Luke when he says this.

Well first you have to have Rey being all WTF when Luke appears. And I like your idea that perhaps they’ve each been training her but how do you explain that on screen?
Tbf I don’t think that dialogue is in the film but I’m probably wrong.

I like the idea of Luke feeling he let her down and helping her train from the beyond though.
That’s easily explained. If Yoda and Obi wan have been too, and it’s just presented like she ‘knows’ them, and all this happened off screen, you’re going to see serious shitstorm meltdown in reaction to it

But we’re gonna see that anyways I guess.

Less than 6 months to go :)

If that dialogue is in the movie, it would be strange if we only ever saw Luke.

He does say ‘we’ have passed on all we know.

That’s actually pretty tantilising if Yoda was/is involved.

Epic lightsaber / force battle ahead maybe?

Seems Luke didn’t die but became one with The Force. He can re materialize any time. He’ll be more than a Force Ghost.

Kinda how The Emperor didn’t die apparently.
