I know you’re being snarky but this is a super shallow reading of that movie. I find it incredibly profound and moving, personally. And I don’t even believe in Jeebus

The keyword here is "personally."

I don't find it profound or moving.

Also, it's pretty shitty to call his opinion shallow just because it's not your opinion.

I also watch The One With The Holiday Armadillo every Christmas. And Love, Actually. :heartbeat:

But to be fair, I watch LA like six times a year whether it's Christmas time or not.

Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas
Rabbit Proof Fence
Apocalypto
2001

Probably more, inadvertently, like Harry Potter movies and LotR when they are on TV.

Steve Albini wrote:Whenever there's active promotion on the part of somebody else, whenever I see somebody all dolled up for a fancy photograph and someone's handing out flyers or whenever there's active promotion for something like that, as an imposition on my day, I hate all those people and I want them to fail. I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

The first is the only one at a certain time. I'm just sure I watch the others at least once a year. I love them.
