my dad used to drink "7-7's" at polish weddings when i was growing up. if it wasn't seagrams it was called a "high ball."

Seagram's 7 Crown Whiskey is classic best seller and best of American Blended whiskies. The nose is cherries, oak, and rye. The entry is prickly with a palate of cherries, oak,and rye, The finish is oak and black pepper with a hint of cherries. . It is good straight but an excellent mixer. It makes a excellent Manhattan as KaiserSoze suggested.

I'd buy a big jug of birddog or makers mark if I had the extra dough lying around..
I honestly don't mind the harshness, fire burning going down.. it's kinda pleasurable, preferable to me really
