Make these songs bigger than they're actually by giving the songs their own artwork, and revealing them in a manner that also makes them bigger than they actually are. The songs might still suck but at least they're a part of the piece of art they can hide behind. I don't think this bodes well for the actual music being good.
This is basically the same post you wrote here last time, and we're probably going to enter the same conversation.

I assume Heathen is running his query for picture uploads, no?

Skipping, full band. Now, how will the artist tie that in?

A windowless van with " :heartbeat: :heartbeat: Free Candy :heartbeat: :heartbeat: " written on the side?

Regardless of how you feel about the artwork for Backspacer, they're basically using the same strategy they used in 2009. I don't remember each reveal being so in depth though.

There was a treasure hunt for the images.

That's right. And then when you found them all you were rewarded with the SOS demo. I remember not partaking in the treasure hunt and just checking RM randomly to see what was found.

They're just trying to stay ahead of Heathen, who's probably safe-cracking right now.

While I would love to see Of The Earth on this album, according to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearl_Jam_(album) wiki, the song was one of twelve outtakes from the Avocado Album.

So they replaced Cold Confession, Let it Ride and Of The Earth with Inside Job, Army Reserve and Big Wave.

I prefer Gone actually, but OK, we can have Army Reserve and get rid of Gone.

I think Inside Job is great for an album ending. That solo, the chorus, really dark / strong atmosphere. I don't care about Big Wave.

Dark atmosphere? If you mean dark purple Hallmark card, then OK :)
