The article makes it clear that he hasn't had direct involvement in Home Depot since 2002, and this article suggests that he's sold his shares in the company. If so, I'm not sure what boycotting Home Depot accomplishes here.

Also, if the goal is to boycott business owners that donate to Trump, I would not be surprised if that list is very long, and also contains more small businesses than big ones.

Maybe start with boycotting the corporations profiting off of the increased militarization of the border.

I think you'll have a hard time finding corporate CEOs on the national level who haven't donated to Trump or some other prominent right-wing figure. He got them their tax cuts, after all.

Home Depot actually has a history of supporting LGBTQ causes.

They've been the target of several Christian boycotts.

Sold beds to detention centers at the border wall.

lol. The radical left is upset about that. Though i think they were mostly upset because they also didnt donate money to organizations trying to help the children at the borders upon request of their workers. They feel they were making money off the crisis.

Of course, if they don't sell furniture to those centers, then the feds are just going to throw more kids on the floor with mylar blankets.

I'll do the easy thing and boycott something that I never buy anyway.

This feels like the Pelosi/AOC debate encapsulated in two posts. In any case, it strikes me as weird to phrase it as "they feel" when that is literally what's happening.

Poor choice of words.

They feel it is wrong that they are making money off of the crisis.
