I only have it for the Switch. I don't think it matters what platform you're on cause of crossplay, though. I forgot my name. Send me yours and I will send you mine when I get home later.tragabigzanda wrote:Are you on PS4? If so what’s your name?

I much prefer the in-game text options to voice. I wish I could communicate that way all the time instead of voice.tragabigzanda wrote:I’ll have to look when I’m online, the crossplay function adds a unique 4-digit prefix to your regular name. Too bad we can’t party chat though.

I gave Spider-Man on PS4 a whirl yesterday, and so far I'm not in love. I've never been a big brawler fan (although I loved the first two Batman games on PS3), but I've heard such good things that I figured it'd be easy to get into. The web-slinging controls aren't as intuitive as I'd hoped and I always feel out of control, and in combat there are just so many button combos, but I always just find myself kicking guys and not much else. Will tey grinding a bit more to see if I warm up to it.

You'll gain more abilities as you level up.Simple Torture wrote:I gave Spider-Man on PS4 a whirl yesterday, and so far I'm not in love. Oh, I'm not saying I don't have enough abilities--it seems to me there are too many from the start. "Try a wall jump...try an aerial attack...try a webshot..." and I just find myself kicking dudes. This was the first time I've ever had the experience of a game being too fast for me, I think; I felt old. By the time I fought Kingpin, I sort of got the hang of using objects in the environment as weapons, so that's a start.Monkey_Driven wrote:You'll gain more abilities as you level up.Simple Torture wrote:I gave Spider-Man on PS4 a whirl yesterday, and so far I'm not in love. You'll get the hang of it soon. Those types of games are always overwhelming at first.Simple Torture wrote:Oh, I'm not saying I don't have enough abilities--it seems to me there are too many from the start. Considering it was the first 3D camera of its kind, it's pretty impressive. Very limiting and frustrating today, however.mf wrote:oh yeah. i've picked it up a few times over the years since then. i made an attempt at 120 about 10 years ago but bailed for whatever reason around 95 or so. but yeah the game is still solid as hell. the only thing that still sucks is the cameraMonkey_Driven wrote:I love that game so much.
