I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I used to love Heat, but I just rewatched it and Pacino's over the top acting really ruins the movie for me. I mean his performance is ridicilous

I also loved Leon The Professional when I was 12-13 years old, but when I saw it again I didn't like it at all...

Pacino's performance makes more sense if you know there was a whole subplot of his characters cocaine addiction that was cut (I think only vague allusions to it survive in the final edit). That scene in the gif is also hilarious for having been improvised by Pacino to the shock of Hank Azaria. The look of bemusement and low key disgust they used in the final film was apparently Azaria's genuine wtf reaction.

Seemed a better use of my memory's storage capacity than high school calculus or remembering where I left my car keys.
