Maybe it's just a "Brother" redux.

Which one of em drinks the jizz and which one the lightning?
One of them comes loaded with jizz, the other with lightning bolts.

If God is the lightning bolts, I don't think many people see a connection between Jesus and sperm.
Speaking as someone raised catholic... I'm just not seeing it. :haha:

Hey, there are only 479001600 possibilities. Maybe someone will get it right!
You know, I thought you had just plucked a random number out of nowhere. But, I did the math and 479,001,600 is bang on correct. Good work, man.

The bullet from Yellow Moon now makes sense. It's so obvious. The one who drinks the hot jizz will blow his own brains out. Because no one should drink their dad's jizz, you guys. Powerful stuff. Gripping.

The artwork better not out-shine the music on this thing.

I mean the last two albums had "ok" artwork that at least went with the tone. But this thing could be setting us up for a let down.

It's super liberal theology. You probably wouldn't get it.

My Father's Son is an awful title and does not sound promising at all.

If it's about sperm-guzzling then it's probably for the best...

I bet it's about STD's. There's a red flame coming out of that sperm bottle. That shit is hot fire.

It could be another snooze ballad. Thing is, I think all of these could be a snooze ballad so we probably have no idea.

So far there seems to be a recurring theme of either lighting, fire, hearts or moons. I'm wording if Harmless is right about the '4 suits' theory (like playing cards).

It brings to mind either an acoustic cheese ballad about loving your father or a acoustic darkish off he goes thing about hating your father.

Either way its acoustic

I'd have no problem with an album filled with acoustic songs as long as they're not Eddie Vedder songs.

I'd be perfectly happy with the latter. I daren't bring up the Bible again, but if it's acoustic it could be a song in the vein of FD which alludes to the religious stuff whilst being essentially autobiographical.
