Im guessing Palps is back and somehow connected with Rey. She also has a very strong connection to the dark side.

She did hear his voice in that vision and the book version she hears a voice telling her to kill kylo but that’s probably Snoke in the mind bridge thing he set up.VinylGuy wrote:Im guessing Palps is back and somehow connected with Rey. She also has a very strong connection to the dark side.
Important to note (imo) she never goes to the dark side. Or gives in to it. Or it doesn’t take over her.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Even though I think having Palpatine in IX makes no sense, if they were going to have Palpatine as Kylo’s master, why waste the reveal “in between movies”? That would be golden to be in an actual movie.dimejinky99 wrote:Fuck
What if Palpatine comes back off screen after TLJ before this one and he’s become kylos master?
Everyone’s saying he has to be linked to Rey cos of the jakku situation but who knows
It would explain why sith troopers are a thing and they answer only to Kylo
The only way Palpatine makes sense in this movie (for me) is an uncovered hologram of him talking about something.

I’ve a feeling it’ll be something like that.
But if it is you’re gonna see complaining that it was a huge hype for very little.
I hope hes a little more involved somehow
If this was all revealed to Palpatines machinations all along either involving Rey or kylo it would be more substantial

They have full size sith troopers on display at sdcc
From SDCC
The placard has since been removed, but it looks like it reads:
"In its ultimate push toward Galactic conquest, the First Order readies an army of elite soldiers that draw inspiration and power from a dark and ancient legacy."

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
My understanding with Rey, is that the actress is totally done after this. From people I know who work in the film industry and general rumors, Daisy found making these films exahusting, she wants to go back to doing small screen stuff and plays, she loved doing, but is done, mostly because the fans are insane. So why not go bold in skywalker, have her go to the darkside?dimejinky99 wrote:She did hear his voice in that vision and the book version she hears a voice telling her to kill kylo but that’s probably Snoke in the mind bridge thing he set up.VinylGuy wrote:Im guessing Palps is back and somehow connected with Rey. I would love that so much. Rey as the main baddie and Kylo saving the galaxy and redeeming himself.lowlight79 wrote:My understanding with Rey, is that the actress is totally done after this. Well none of it’s down to her.
But I agree sith you completely.
She was done with this and markedly after TLJ. And it wasn’t anything you suggested. She loves the training and the making of.
It was the toxic element attacking her.
Not only did she have to delete her social media stuff. Her family did too.
The lunatics found out where she lived and her family.
Including the fact that she was living in a House they got her while Making TFA and Alec guinness’ former house was a few doors away.
They knew where she was they could come at any time to attack her and we wonder why she doesn’t want to do any more Star Wars?
Would any director writer actor or anyone want to get on board to make new ones after that?

Whatever the thing in the forest is about they’re reshooting on location in a place called black park in the uk. I know the falcon is on site but obviously no idea about the context or story.
We saw a little of what might be that forest on the trailer with the shot of kylo dropping that other person

The hate brigade are launching their reshoot hysteria campaign tomorrow it seems.
So expect the usual click bait sites to pick it up
Every film has reshoots.
I miss the term pickups.
Here we go anyways.
