There's probably five or six songs on Whole Love better than anything on the prior album (barring Bull Black Nova). That being said, I think the degree to which they've put out shit records is a bit overstated. Even at their nadir, each album has had some good stuff on it.

Chris, I’m listening to disc two of Being There right now. Two songs in and I’m already prepared to admit that I ranked this too low. No way it should be below SBS.

I went to my local book store in search of Tweedy’s memoir today but they didn’t stock it. I’m tempted to order from Amazon, but hell, I’ll just order it from the book store. I’m in no hurry.
