I already forgot the name of the third abuser guy (running back?) they had to cut from that cesspool of a franchise.

So you're judging the man for language he used around his son? Might need more context before you cast stones.

E.H. Ruddock wrote:while I agree with you mostly, joey, there are good dudes in the NFL, it isn't complicated at all. Guys who have a history of violence against women and children are being allowed to continue to play and make lots of money. But I still watch, too. I guess it is like going on with life, watching our president make racist remarks daily. We watch it happen but we don't or can't do anything about it.
I mean the Hill case specifically is complicated because it's pretty clear we don't know a lot that we thought we knew.

Bottom line though, Hill admits to punishing his children in ways I have a problem with. And we all heard the quote GH mentioned earlier. Regardless of the rest of it, you're right, that isn't at all complicated. It's gross. And it's what keeps me from rooting for him. Honestly, I'd still be totally fine with Hill off my team.

Anyway we’re talking about a team that had Christian Okoye and Joe Montana ... still couldn’t get it done.

The 1960s Cowboys couldn't get it done...until they could.
The 1980s and early 1990s Broncos couldn't get it done...until they could.
Peyton Manning of the mid 2000s couldn't get it done against Tom Brady...until he could.

It would not be a huge thrill for me to see the Chiefs finally get over the hump, but there's no supernatural power stopping teams like the Chiefs, the Vikings, or even the Bills or Browns from doing so if they get the right personnel.

(As an aside, and I'm spoilering this for Joey for obvious reasons, but whenever Christian Okoye is mentioned I am contractually obligated to post this.)

I know all the talk about KC is going to be about controversial players and Andy Reid, but keep a look out for Mecole Hardman in the next year or two as well. He's small but ultra athletic too.

If you're going to go extravagant rookie purchases, this is how to do it right.
