Re: The Running Thread
Did 8 miles on the Elliptical yesterday and my foot isn't bothering me today. Not sure how I should play this. I'm taking today off. But should I do the Elliptical again tomorrow? Or is my foot ready to get back to running? Decisions, decisions...

Re: The Running Thread
This is good advice. But I already did a treadmill run today. Foot feels good now. I'm going to work out tomorrow too. Probably not a run though. Don't want to risk it.Peeps wrote:durdencommatyler wrote:Did 8 miles on the Elliptical yesterday and my foot isn't bothering me today. Not sure how I should play this. I'm taking today off. Re: The Running Thread
I had planned on taking the day off, but it was 78 degrees and raining this morning, so I couldn't pass it up.

Re: The Running Thread
I love running in the rain.
My brother and I ran/hiked the entire Wicklow Way (130K) in a freezing Irish deluge for two days and it was probably the greatest time of my life.

Re: The Running Thread
Going to visit my best friend for the next two days and I've decided NOT to run while there, so the streak ends at 102.

Re: The Running Thread
I've got 100 on the 8s and while I'm not sure it's a better version of the shoe for everyone it might be a better version for me as the 7s were giving me sore achilles. No issue in the 8s so far.

Re: The Running Thread
First outdoor run in a couple of weeks. And boy did that suck. Lactic acid kicked my ass. I ran 12 hours ago and I still feel like shit.

Second terrible run in a row. This sucks.
