thip, I’m not sure of your familiarity with King’s works, but 11/22/63 should be at the very top of your list.

I've only read Green Mile, Nightmares and Dreamscapes, and the aforementioned Wind Through the Keyhole and Salem's Lot. I've been wanting to immerse myself into something big, and The Dark Tower seems to be the one.

11/22/63 first, huh?

Not “first” necessarily. But they are different reads. The Gunslinger is very lean and sort of quiet. 11/22/63 has a similar energy as Back To The Future 2, but with much higher stakes.

11/22/63 is top tier King and an absolute MUST for any fan of the guy's work. It's an amazing and meaningful book. It's a great read and I HIGHLY recommend it. But it's not necessary at all for The Dark Tower series. If you're feeling the call of the beam, then by all means follow that path. But once you're done with the whole series or if you want to take a break from the series and switch to something different for a while, definitely check out 11/22/63.

Blindness is an extraordinary, vital, and flawless piece of art. It's one of the most exceptional novels I've ever read and I love it with all my heart. I would slot it behind only Toni Morrison's Beloved on my personal list of greatest achievements in literature.

I'm so excited for you to be going no this journey. Saramago is brilliant. BRILLIANT. Man I wish I could experience reading Blindness again for the first time. Enjoy it, bune.

I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.
