Dont get me wrong im happy they decided to slow down on the movies. I just wish this new Ep was as big as an event as any of the Avengers movie. Thats what my SW is.dimejinky99 wrote:I was of the opinion way bad that they should get this new trilogy out of the way then do the standalones. It didn’t work out that way but none of them failed. Im saying i think they failed at get more people interested in their movies. Marvel beat them. SW films used to be events as big as the marvel ones now, and its not happening.
Man, even the last saga film seems so watered down in terms of marketing.
Also, its just a comment i couldt care less about it. Like i said i wish they only did the last saga film and thats it.
Your interest has dwindled and that’s fair enough. doesn’t equate to failure.
If they were banging uiu jver the head relentlessly all year long with marketing and new stuff you’d already be tired. And probably angry about it. I would too.
I care not a fuck if it even truly fails any one of them. I just hope I like the film or show.
I love marvel and think it’s relentless overkill at the same time.
Horses for courses.

Star Wars is a class above In a way. Look at it like this. It doesn’t need two films a year.
We probably might get that at some point but meh.
We already got the teaser(you didn’t see my reaction video? For shame!)
Come October you’re gonna see the first main trailer. Then it’ll be relentless.
Common complaint among SW fans is the endless new tv spots and teasers give too much away.
They’ve always listened to the audience on that. And they know marketing. It’s Disney now.
Who knows their market and how to work it better than them?
I’m saving your post til October. Then mod November will remind you of it

if death stars 3 through 5 are from books, comics, newspapers, magazines, blogs, vlogs, fanfic, tv shows, tv commercials, web series', thumbnail, facebook, twitter, instagram then they don't count.dimejinky99 wrote:He doesn’t even have the number right it’s Death Star 6 ffsStrat wrote:geezes dude.blueviper wrote:dimejinky99 wrote:Ok great. So something that probably would have been interesting in the movie series but is not used so instead we can focus on Death Star III. Cool.

I think I prefer the non-internet days of yore when it comes to movie marketing.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
any thoughts on this mind melting final scene/set?
-Luke Skywalker physically returns
- Darth Vader (the person or his armor/helmet) returning
- Han Solo returning
I mean, what's mind melting at this point? Revisiting anything in the PT is not mind-melting in my opinion.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Funny you mentioned that.
I accidentally read the report on the ending today
I’m not saying where. You can figure that out.
If it’s anyway true and they’re usually around 90% right these guys, I don’t know how it’s gonna work from the description but I know it being conveyed on screen is a whole different thing.
Let’s see.

Hey coach.
spoiler Tag’s will always be used by me anyways.
I don’t even wanna read or certainly not share anymore big stuff at this stage.
I’m sad I read what I read. Hope it isn’t true.
