I really have to hand it to Coach Pete for being able to contain him while he was at BSU. And even then, he had to suspend him for an entire year.

So is suing the NFL for CTE like a porn star suing Vivid for injuries sustained while having sex?

Fairly odd and so obviously about money.

So there is a possibility that Darrelle Revis could be traded, anyone think it will happen? i wanna say that i would love the Bucs to get him with how much they need help at CB, but has it been 2 years in a row now that he has gotten hurt, and this time was the Achilles wasnt it, maybe he is gonna be an injury risk the rest of his career

The Jets rebuilding with Rex Ryan on the hot seat makes zero sense. Either he's there guy while they rebuild or they should move on right now. They're probably not going to be very good next year regardless of coach, so unless they are committed to Ryan beyond next season I don't understand what they're doing.

The Jets are a complete mess. It all started when they started letting key guys go (Cotchery, Richardson) and acquired bad guys (Holmes). Next they didn't draft well and Rex is a glorified defensive coordinator and has no eye for talent and has way too much power. As a Jets fan I came to realize that his first two years he was succeeding with Mangini's players. Also they have a crazy owner who should have cleared house. They clearly needed to rebuild and they think they can quick fix it. They didn't bring in a talent evaluator, they brought in a cap guy. And if they do trade Revis, it's a HUGE mistake. For those outside of NY, this guy is the best corner in the league and he will be even one leg next year.

I don't place all the blame on Sanchez though he didn't help himself (horrible int's, the butt fumble). He had zero weapons and a offense run by sprarano which wasn't even a high school offense. They need to draft better and they need big nasty defensive players, pass rushers.

Something to consider with Revis is that his relations with the Jets have never been good. He's already held out twice over contract disputes. I wouldn't be surprised if he's really eager to hit free agency and make a huge payday, like Charles Woodson and Nnamdi Asomugha did after getting tired of being held back by the Raiders. If that's the case, then it's not completely ludicrous to consider getting some compensation for him now before he bolts for good in 2014. Yes, the Jets will suck more without them, but considering their horrid cap situation, they're likely to suck no matter what (sorry, lowlight).

And I agree with all of you that it was stupid for the Jets to keep Rex around. If you're going to fire the GM, you might as well fire the coach as well and start completely clean.

they eventually got it right in Jacksonville( at least the starting clean part) and i just knew the Jets would do the same and get rid of Rex.

holy crap this kid is dumb, and Detroit is dumb if they cut him. bring him back in for camp, make him feel like he is the #2 guy and then suspend him for the season right before game 1

The sad thing is that Titus Young doesn't understand that this is hurting his chances for future employment greatly

he's pretty much talked his way onto the raiders roster.
