Also present is a producer Brendan O'Brien, who gives an insight into the work on the new Pearl Jam factory.
Now I'm getting real excited for this next week!

Something's been mistranslated here.
Imagine PJ went all Warhol on us and had a factory of songwriters?

"factory" probably means "production"

Yeah, it's the word "Werk" which means factory but also "piece of work".

I know it is completely different (and better, imo) art than the Tom Tomorrow stuff, but I guess I prefer the grainy photos, rough sketches, that type of thing on album art. This is another "clean" looking production, just like Backspacer. Maybe I'm not explaining it well enough, but it's just a vibe I guess.

Totally agree with you....the artwork is very much like backspacer in that regard, its just a little more darker...doesnt mean its bad but i agree im a huge fan of the more organic artwork i.e yield/no code

I wanna know how many times stone has punched ed in the face.

Ed would murder stone in a fight....i know eds a tiny guy but hes got that look about him..you know he can fight....
Ed doesn't look like he could scrap. I'd take Stone in that fight. He'd fight like a bitch (nut shots, hair pulling, and biting), but Stone would win.
I get the feeling stones fighting style would look like this

As for ed, may i direct you to the video thread wherein i posted a video of ed tossing a dude off stage. Noawadays ed would probably just hug him into submission or something though.
i want to see that video...is it still there?

We haven't had 'organic artwork' since Riot Act though, so I wouldn't expect it back any time soon.

We're really fucked I guess since we haven't had a great album since then either. :waah:

Pretty much. Although at this point I'm fairly sure that PJ are into their Future Days. Something really good will do, even if not great. Something better than the last two would be ideal.
