A far more interesting question is how does an innocent get justice in the era of search engines and big data? The accusations never go away.

"Right to be forgotten" is the phrase I think you're referring to. If so, it's ironic that you mentioned Google, since they've been in the crosshairs of a lot of those advocates. It's also something that would never fly in the land of the First Amendment.

Just because google won’t respond to queries with his name in the EU doesn’t mean Hollywood Reporter or wherever those screenshots came from is going to go back and purge his name. I suspect accusations on social media are now permanent records for the accused. This could be a cash cow for lawyers.

I'm not convinced, the number of totally innocent men, railroaded by #MeToo (which, I know, exist) has yet risen to a level that makes me think it's a bigger problem than the number of women assaulted, harassed, and raped by men who faced no consequence.
Though I wouldn't mock a particular man for crying over false accusations, I will mock men in general, who are afraid that they can't be men for fear of accusations.
