This week we're not playing, we're in between the summer and fall seasons and it's really thrown off my equilibrium.skunkthecat wrote:I'm a big believer in the getting drunk and throwing things school of thought. Especially midweek...

Watching The Tourist. Johnny Depp looks like Eddie. Being chased around Venice. In blue stripey pyjamas. Over the rooftops. By the mob.

Depp said recently he's quitting acting. He should I reckon. I can't remember the last film he did where he didn't do the 'johnny depp quirky' bit.

Saw about 20 mins of that the other day. Zero chemistry between those 2 vain narcissistic mirror-kissers. Shocking direction and awful script. Could possibly be the worst film ever made except it's harsh to judge on just 20mins.skunkthecat wrote:Watching The Tourist. Johnny Depp looks like Eddie. Being chased around Venice. A lovely joke the Belgians make about the (supposedly) greedy Dutch:dimejinky99 wrote:And as to your joke, you can always tell an American but you can't tell him much.
How was copper wire invented? Two Dutchmen found a cent.

Re: Across the Atlantic
Electric Picnic before moving house was a TERRIBLE idea. Billy Bragg was fucking awesome though. And we've just got the wifi set up, boo-yah!!!
How many Englishmen does it take to milk a cow?
5. 1 to hold the udders, 4 to stand at each leg and lift the cow up and down.
Ba-dump-TSH. *tumbleweed and crickets* Tough crowd...
