Imagine how badly we'd be shitting on that title if we didn't have this pic to go with it.

I happen to think that's a great title actually. It suggests a disdain at his father and himself and songs about internal conflict ring often more true than the blame the rich/god/rightwingers/society/etc theme we hear way to often now.
Well said

I think it's meant to be a political / legal play on words: "Let the records show..." I hope so anyway.

Because it takes a hell of a long time for the world to end so you really have a chance to spin multiple records if that's how you're planning on going out... y'know

It didn't turn out quite, quite like we hoped.

I'm excited about that too. But that's cause I keep equating it with that moon improv its going to sound nothing like.

I'm less excited about sirens because of the artwork though, still really like the name.
I really liked that artwork. The first two days of this reveal were really strong.

Anyway, I think 'Yellow Moon' is a far more tasteful and subtle title than I'd expect from a song about moons. 'Unthought Known' was a sledgehammer of a title; it said 'THIS SONG WILL BE SO TRENDY/COOL' and then it wasn't. This title is just... there, suggesting that maybe the title didn't need to be a huge seller because the song does it.

You're right, but I'd rather PJ ripped off The Mynabirds than Coldplay.

In all fairness, I probably shouldn't make fun of Poison. They were my first love. I was 11 years old and "Open Up and Say... Aaah!" was the first cassette tape I ever owned. Fortunately for myself (and thousands of others no doubt) Andrew Wood died, otherwise I might still be listening to '80's glam rock!

I think today's order will go:
Infallible
Lightning Bolt

Seems fitting to end the reveal with the title track.
Don't we have a third unknown as well as MYM? Sorry I mean second.
Oops, you're right, assuming we get LB & Infallible, there's still one more mystery one.

I don't know why they'd do MYM artwork again though.
That why i was wondering if they would skip MYM and give us 3 today
Don't think we'll get another LB piece. The album art = song art I'd bet.
Won't get anything for MYM

That leaves 2 - Infallible (maybe), and one other.

He complains against religious and political hierarchy, war, inequality, financial corruption and greed, etc. etc. But he's never simplistically said it's rich people's fault.

Perfectly said. It bugs me when people get on with the whole "these guys are rich and should shut about about greed." Such a shortsighted criticism IMHO.

Plenty of people on the political left are rich. Newsflash and all that... As long as they stand for good values, I don't care.

This is silly. They are doing a Track Reveal, which presumably means revealing ALL the tracks, even if one (MYM) happens to have already been revealed as the first single from the new album.

They will either do two images for MYM and LB, or they'll just add them and slowly reveal two others. But I still think we'll get them somehow because I still think this is the running order in reverse.

I'd bet a large sum that they think they've already revealed both tracks, and we get the two ones only today, without any sequencing info. We'll all think we know the order, but really won't. At most, they simply re-issue the art for MYM and the LB album, with only slight mods to make it show only the song title, not the band name.

That's my opinion. And my opinions are always undisputable facts.
