CopperTom wrote:Vault #9 is the December 8, 1993 show from Seattle's Mercer Arena the second of three nights that wrapped up a big year in support of VS.

"If you're looking to capture the raw, brazen and unbridled energy of Pearl Jam's early era, then this is the concert for you. With only two albums of material to glean their set list from, this high energy evening includes spellbinding takes on Release, Dissident, Go and Deep. The Momma Son trilogy of Alive, Once and Footsteps is performed in sequence and the encore features the second ever performance of Tremor Christ and paying tribute to the day this concert fell on, a scorching take on The Beatles' I've Got A Feeling."
- Rob Bleetstein
It just so happens that I AM looking to capture the raw, brazen and unbridled energy of Pearl Jam’s early era. This is the show for me.

There was a day when I would have added to cart in a heartbeat. Now I'm sitting here, doing fucking math, looking at the calendar, thinking about my trip next spring and going, "weeeeeellllll......"

Anyone ever had to update your shipping address on an order of this nature? Fairly certain I’ll be moved before this actually ships.

But, considering Vault 8 is still available, would I be safe waiting a couple of months to find out what a new address might be?

I will wait for the CD version. All things considered I N pretty happy with this vault release since it is not something that would have been on my radar but is now.

I only have Soldier Field on vinyl. I think I'll add this to my collection.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

While I still long for some more Jack Irons-era shows, I'm very happy with this choice. Could've been much worse.

:nice:

(I still think issuing these on vinyl is very stupid.)

One year I ordered one of these vaults in August, found out I was moving in September, and emailed Ten Club about my address change. Quoting from a September 24th email: "The address correction has been made." In January they sent it to my old apartment.

So yeah, send it to your parents' house.

I was thinking about this tour the other day, since a few live cuts made it onto some singles (the Daughter single had 2 from about a month before), so not surprised they had recordings. Excited about this one.
