Pete. It sucks. I'm sorry.
It does not.
Wease. It really does. I'm sorry.
Trump buying Greenland makes more sense than this post
Wease is the posters name. Habit is terrible. I feel badly about that because Pete and Wease (both RMers) seem to want it to be good. The format of my post to Wease was a reference to the format of my previous post to Pete. So it was a "callback" of sorts.

I hope that helps it make sense. :)
I get how posting works, I was trying to politely point out you keep making this ridiculous typo
I see. Thank you for pointing it out. I'll try to do better in the future.

I don't know, Bi... every time I look it up, it's spelled "Habit." And that's how Pete spelled it, too. I don't think I'm spelling it wrong. So, it's not a typo at all. Sorry buddy.

I love you man, but you spelled “terrific” wrong.

We are on page 314 of anticipating the follow up to a record containing Swallowed Whole? Really?

Indeed, but at some point this thing will happen.

Shows in late 2019, or is the tour starting in 2020? Everyone that’s has inside info before keeps saying no shows this year.

:haha:

I'd love to keep this bit going but I fear we're on the verge of really pissing Ruddo off.

I can’t think of one that’s really the same. GNR disbanded during the long wait for Chinese Democracy, and the Stones didn’t even start to slow until the late 90s.

Maybe The Who?
When I was a kid, The Who just seemed to be completely gone. I think after Keith Moon died they were never the same. But I'm surprised if there aren't other bands.

Springsteen is a good example, although he is a solo artist, and not exactly what I was thinking of.
The Who really is a pretty good parallel. An incredible 10 year run, 6-7 more years of occasionally enjoyable foundering, and then....touring.

When Eddie said he wanted to be just like Pete Townshend when he grew up, he really did mean at all stages of grown up.

Pearl Jam went through a period where they thought they were only capable of making great music, and arrogantly didn’t want their records to be *too* great. Everything they made during that time is gold to me, because they really were that great.

If only he’d crafted solo albums as good as Empty Glass or All the Best Cowboys.
