I haven’t watched a Star War in months.

On a pod today someone said you put on Solo to have fun and get into the spirit of it. You dont put on the last Jedi for fun

Pained me to agree.

Disagree. There's plenty of room and opportunity for them to meet. And I would love to see it. But they don't HAVE to either. Plenty of good story to tell without a confrontation.
When in this timespan between movies would Vader consider himself the “learner” under Obi-Wan? He stopped being that when he gave in to the Dark Side in RoS. Vader also says “we meet again at last.” That’s not something you say when you see a guy and fight him every few years.
There's like 18 years between RotS and ANH, my man.
Er, yeah, I know.

He needed to stay out of the public eye. Hanging around that bar wouldn’t be.

Didn't obi wan have a run in with the emperor in an episode of rebels? Or am I remembering that wrong? I don't think it's impossible that he could have an encounter with Vader early on after RotS and it still work in the context of everything

I thought the only time he showed up on Rebels was the Maul episode.

Good question. Rumours have it it’s 6 or 8 episodes.

Stepping back, and looking at all the stuff they have planned for marvel tv series,
You’d have to wonder are they doing a Star Wars tv series every year? Or maybe even two?
The cassian andor series is also coming down the line.

They’re already working on season two of the Mandalorian

Is the assumption that this series would be post ROTS?

I guess early on in his exile, Obi-Wan could have gone on some adventures. Then maybe something that happens offworld makes him realize he needs to go into hiding and keep tabs on Luke, make sure he’s safe. That’s where the series could end, when he just goes into hermit mode

Isn’t it brilliant? He’s got it. I never realised how good he is at that acting stuff.

Ps he’s looking to direct it. According to sources.
