I just realized the CD is going to be bomb. With the covers, the workbook and all. I'm expecting No Code kind of special.

the snake, the apple -- is the tree next?

It would seem more and more that this one will also have a religious bent to it.
They might still surprise us with an unexpected twist like with yesterday's milk/molotov bottles

MYM isn't as special as anything on No Code, neither is FD or LB.

I hope it's called "Snakes In My Brain" and starts with Ed yelling "I'm sick and tired of these motherfucking snakes in my motherfucking brains!" and proceeds to be a series of Ed commentaries on viral phenomenons of the 00's.

The image says Of The Earth to me. But, looking at the lyrics I can't really see it.

There's no way they've kept the lyrics the same. There were hardly any lyrics to start with.

I mean the whole package.
Look at the elements separately - and they are just a bunch of polaroids, nothing special, eh

I would think part of the reason ed has never been happy with the song is because of the lyrics? They seemed more like placeholders to me every time they've played it live. Who knows. Maybe he's re-worked them to fit into the theme of the album. With a title like "of the earth" and finding inspiration from all these other topics possibly covered in the songs...

Here's to hoping, anyway.

There is no way this packaging will touch No Code.
MYM is better than Habit, Lukin and Mankind at the very least.
There's the dog. You can't fake that stuff. Confess with your mouth.
