Following our previous articles, we can now confirm that in these days the band is rehearsing in Seattle some new material for their new highly anticipated 11th album.

As for now there are no further details about the release date of the new Pear Jam album.

Amongst the Waves, and Unthought Known for that matter, are goods songs in my mind that don’t fit on Backspacer. Most of Backspacer is a sort of barely planned, almost rushed in my opinion, set of songs that perhaps aim to please through their immediacy. Those two are sort of the exceptions and would have fit perfectly on the more carefully curated, though admittedly average, Lightning Bolt.

I still pretty much hate the last two albums, but oddly enough The Fixer is no longer a song I despise. It's moved up to "I can tolerate it" levels. Got Some is the best song on the album, and the rest kinda sucks. All of LB pretty much sucks.
