Qui-Gon is a good example of someone coming back to this and making sense.

In all these new shows and films there is no better more fertile seed bed for bringing in prequel Trilogy elements and characters and it elements and characters than this kenobi series

Blasts the idea it’s just an old man sitting in the desert out of the fucking water. And that’s fabulous.

yeah, but i want that western element in this one. I want Obi Wan to be in the desert thinking about the past and what went wrong. I want him to think about Anakin.

Same. It should be mostly Obi-Wan.

I love this. You’re bang on. Anakin is going to feature heavily in his thoughts.
I’m not against them bringing Vader into it for a confrontation season finale or whatever. There’s narrative room to that. But I do hope we see him ruminate on Anakin.

Obi wan is in clone wars I think talking to qui gon and QG asks him have you teacher him and obi wan is all like I tried master. might be misremembering that but it happened somewhere

yeah, i think it would be really cool to have Hayden coming back as Anakin too. See Obi Wan remembering stuff we havent seen in the prequels about him. Feeling like a failure. Thinking what happened with the jedi.

Oh, Palps need to be here too.

Look at the reveals.
Palpatine. Rey in black with a double bladed red lightsaber.

What are they hiding if they’re showing that?

I think there is so much for Obi Wan to contemplate. A real human piece. he is a perfect vehicle for exploring guilt and redemption. I truly believe this show needs nobody else from the extended universe to make the story of obi wan interesting. They can add to it but are by no mans essential for exploring the mind and story of Obi Wan.

Hopefully yes. I want to see the talent involved to be more exited about it, but Ewan being there is enough to guarantee a cool thing.

Does no one fear that they'll jam a bunch of Prequel and OT fan service in this until it makes no sense?
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?
