VinylGuy wrote:yeah, i think it would be really cool to have Hayden coming back as Anakin too. See Obi Wan remembering stuff we havent seen in the prequels about him. Feeling like a failure. Thinking what happened with the jedi.

Oh, Palps need to be here too.
Look at the reveals.
Palpatine. Rey in black with a double bladed red lightsaber.

What are they hiding if they’re showing that?

Force ghost Anakin skywalker
We’d better not. Or if we do, it’d better be an old man.

He can’t be old. He was Anakin as a young man in rotj. He’ll appear and school Kylo and having all access to all the force save them from Palpatine. Wait n see
No. No he wasn’t. And Greedo never got a fucking shot off, either.

And if what you just said happens, I’m fucking OUT.

I wasnt as suprised as i thought i would be...maybe because the show the OT and fuck those movies are so much better. BUT...

- I hope they use C3PO in a good way here. Maybe he remembers Anakin?
- The final shot of Rey is weird yes. Its a misdirect for sure. Bummer.
- Maybe the Emperor is talking to Vader? because we get Vader´s breathe after he talks about the journey coming to an end.

what if Palpatine takes the form of Rey - it’s not Rey herself? But she has to face off against herself but it’s really him? Can’t see her Turning. Has to be something else to it

That final shot with Rey looks off. Almost CGI in a way.

How many of you nerds remember that lightsaber/staff thing Rey has in the final shot from Rebels? :heartbeat:

Say again?

The temple guards in the prequels and rebel’s have the same ones too

Yeah, the Temple Guard Kanan fights uses that exact same thing. I was having a hard time picturing what it looked like when we only had descriptions. Now seeing it, the image from Rebels jumped to mind:

I thought it was bizarre that no one seemed to be talking about this once the descriptions of the sizzle reel dropped. Obviously, other images/ideas were more interesting/pressing for people. But I read that and thought... what the holy hell?

Now seeing it, it feels like less of a big deal. And maybe that's why people weren't really latching on to it. Hopefully, whatever is going on with him gets an explanation on screen. Unlike, say, his red are in TFA.

The rumour is they do something with his memory to retrieve something and a file is corrupted.
Daniels has said threepio has a much bigger part in this.

Still no R2 :(

Watching this again and I noticed in the scene where Rey is throwing her saber, there's a training droid present. That's interesting. And what's up with the red material around her hand? Is she wounded? Is it a training thing?

Also, do we think the lightning throughout the reel (during the Star Destroyer invasion -- which is BEYOND BADASS -- and while Kylo ignites his blade the first time) is regular lightning? Or do we think it's Force lightning. Didn't Palpatine master Force Lightning and Force Storm ability in the Legends books?

Finally, does it mean anything at all that in the actual footage we've seen of Kylo and Ren fighting on what looks to be the Death Star wreckage Kylo is helmet-less but he's wearing his helmet on that poster?
