The eagle eyed have spotted it looks like we’re going to Yavin. Death Star 1 wreckage. Same features from inside the trench run they seem to be dueling upon
Also gun towers from the trench visible on the left as the camera goes in on the two

I was just playing the part of an unsatisfied SW fan. Apparently I am too negative according to King Joey.dimejinky99 wrote:Well you can clearly see the wreckage of it in the teaser MDMonkey_Driven wrote:Oh great, the Death Star again?!

I think a fight on the wreckage sounds great. Hopefully it doesn't look too artificial with CGI.

Press play on the top clip and look at the puddle.

So is Rey going to turn out to be the evil one and Kylo the Skywalker who rises to defeat her as per the film's title?

I kinda like his idea. Rey is one of the force sensitive babies Palpatine was working on and she goes evil. Kylo saves the day renounces the name and becomes skywalker and keeper of the legacywease wrote:Shut up!!!meatwad wrote:So is Rey going to turn out to be the evil one and Kylo the Skywalker who rises to defeat her as per the film's title?

Wasn't Palpatine's death before Rey's birth? She's not 30+ years old in these movies, right?

Was working on stolen force sensitive babies in clone wars and had some sort of sith facility on jakku that’s where the empires last stand was.Monkey_Driven wrote:Wasn't Palpatine's death before Rey's birth? She's not 30+ years old in these movies, right?
The Rey is a clone idea didn’t just appear. There’s loads of backup in the new canon you could play with to make t happen.
From a certain point of view of course

But none of this has been mentioned in the movies...dimejinky99 wrote:Was working on stolen force sensitive babies in clone wars and had some sort of sith facility on jakku that’s where the empires last stand was.Monkey_Driven wrote:Wasn't Palpatine's death before Rey's birth? people should stop writing better movies than what they're given. that way leads to hate and suffering and whatever else the little green dude said.
Oh, I don't know. You must be thinking of some other band. : tmbg

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker
Wouldn't this really save the entire legacy of this trilogy? It would make it a hell of a lot less predictable and much more interesting for repeated viewings. I don't know, just a thought I had as at this point there's been nothing to indicate that Rey is a Skywalker, whereas Kylo is the grandson of Anakin and son of Leia. His name may technically be Solo but other than Luke and Leia, he's the only Skywalker I've seen in these movies so far.dimejinky99 wrote:I kinda like his idea.
