But I can't even get the motivation up to work on the Covers discs for this, so I can't see it ever happening.

That's hilarious.Dissident wrote:. At one of the Canadian shows I was at in 2011 they killed Come Back so bad, it got cut from the official bootleg.

Has the covers disc been scrapped? I noticed that there has been no mention of it since Augustridleybradout wrote: But I can't even get the motivation up to work on the Covers discs for this, so I can't see it ever happening.

Not scrapped, just delayed. I've been really busy the past few months, not to mention having OD'd on PJ this year making these discs. Hopefully I'll get it completed before the end of the year.ZebZuber wrote:Has the covers disc been scrapped? In the mean time, feel free to contribute suggested versions to the covers list
ridleybradout wrote:Here is the list of nominations of versions received to date for the songs that will feature on the Covers discs.
Basically, any cover song that has been played by the band 10 or more times will be included, along with any that the band has recorded in the studio for official release (i.e. 'Better Things', 'Again Today').
I also thought that since they weren't featured on the other discs, 'It's Okay' and 'Save It For Later' should probably be included here (the later was played in a full-ish fashion after Better Man had stopped on 2006-05-17). Thoughts about this? (or including other frequent tags?)

This set is only going to include audience-sourced tracks if nothing else is available, and there are plenty of 05 versions to choose from for this one.jdopj wrote:Bleed For Me-Grand Rapids ‘04?

Cracking job lads. I would immediately say there are better version of Black though.
Not sure when this was made but Padova 2018 is insane, maybe best ever.
Marseille 2006 is also probably 2nd best version going.
Hartford 96, Sydney 2006 and Madrid 2006 also worth mentioning.

They've played "Black" live 579 times. I'm sure there's more than one outstanding performance of it.

Hey Ridley did you ever think about working on the covers discs again that you were going to this set mate? I think it would make a fantastic addition along with a cover snippets and jams discs to round off the set completely
