If not too heavy handed there's nothing wrong with that sentiment. That's basically what given to fly is about. And the New Testament
And Love Boat Captain.

I wish I could say any of this tracklist feels like anything, but I'm still open to getting everything I thought wrong so whatever. For me, that's it for the speculation until we know more.

The thing about sentimentality is, however horrible it sounds, it's usually not wrong.

nah, i like inside job. future days is worse. so much worse. plus it's ed and bo'b cheese. mike cheese is more forgivable because he's not a professional lyricist. not that i really hate the inside job lyrics or anything.

i guess it kind of is. rather than having an "unknown future" he's singing about having a sure future. the former is much more interesting. it's the boring, pointless follow up with extra cheese stuffed in the crust.

He's not a professional lyricist until he writes lyrics for a professional band, they put them on an album, and he takes home a handsome cut of the earnings for it. And then he is a professional lyricist, just a shit one.

The end is speed of sound 2. or vice versa.

Lyrically anyway. Dying dude, pondering on life, i think the narrator dies att the end of both of em too.

Ed has always self-referenced. I'm OK with it. I'd rather that than him trying to write something with a new subject. Johnny Guitar is the furthest he got.

I don't get what why everyone is splooshing over that. Its just ambient noise. It will be a nice lead in to one of these tracks I'm thinking, maybe Sirens. If it is included, it will be a good sign for this album because its nowhere near cheesy sounding enough to fit on backspacer and sounded like it had too much depth for Avocado.
