Jams

Post by washing machine »

I'm halfway through a jar of watermelon jam from a church picnic. Don't know if I'll ever come across it again. What kind of good jams have you guys had lately?

I've got a jar of fig preserves I picked up on that same trip as the watermelon jam, actually. I've been cutting them up and adding to my oatmeal.

Oh no we bought it directly from the seller in Indiana this summer, I just assume most people are not going to travel to the midwest for a jam.

Though they should consider it. It's truly a phenomenal jam. The bourbon peach one is also incredible.

JAM
Pineapple Vanilla Bean // Blackberry Shiraz // Raspberry Rose Geranium // Bourbon Paw Paw // Strawberry Rhubarb // Cranberry Pomegranate // Roasted Tomato // Tamarind Plum // Blueberry Honey // Cranberry Blood Orange // Cherry Habanero // Maple Apple Butter // Apricot Vanilla Bean // Bourbon Brown Sugar Peach // Ginger Pear // Strawberry Guava // Berry Hibiscus // Tart Cherry Pistachio // Strawberry Honey // Mixed Berry // Blueberry Moscato
I bet that Paw Paw jam is pretty good. Reminds me of a restaurant I ate at in Charleston called "Paw Paw." When I asked the waiter about the name, I had never heard of the fruit. He extolled the flavors of a ripe paw paw while lamenting the fact that there was nothing on the menu made with it. "Maybe next year we'll get some..." he pined.

The paw paw one is my white whale, it's always sold out.
