Lana Del Rey is better than Radiohead

Other than Pearl Jam, who else is there?

Oh man, I totally forgot about that thing.

Does that talk about cell phones in strip clubs?
No idea. I haven’t heard that song in forever, probably around the last time I was actually at a strip club in my early 20s. That was basically pre camera phone days.

I've never been to a strip club. As such it's never even crossed my mind. Honestly, the first time I ever thought about it was like a week ago watching an episode of Veronica Mars.

But it does seem like common sense to me now that it's been pointed out.
I would never have thought about it either. Today was the first time it crossed my mind. :haha:

Durden never visiting a strip club is as predictable as predictable gets.

And yet still somehow not quite as predictable as you picking a post of mine to comment about.

I dreamed that I heard an LDR song last night, but when I woke up I lost the sound and the melody of it. I bet it was probably close to what she actually sounds like, though.

I listened to it for the first time on a 4 hour flight, stuck in a middle seat between 2 subhumans who smelled like old hard boiled eggs and musty pennies. It wore thin on me after a while, but I feel like I should have been listening to The Clash or something in that mindset and setting. I’ll give it another try.

Yeah, I think I'm leaning this direction too. It's a melodic tour de force.

The detached/hollow remarks don't resonate with me at all.

I think California is the song from NFR that's grown on me the most. When it came on today I got super pumped.

I see Lana Del Rey released a 14-minute video for “NFR”, which seems to fit the theme of the entire album: overwrought and drawn out.

At least it’s consistent.

A music video for the title track or a promo video for the album?

That question is best answered by someone who is willing to sit through it
