Right, the conclusion of the 9 movie saga will be based on the main plot of a much maligned video game.Anders wrote:He did have Operation: Cinder in place.

If you want everything explained and logical, the additional canon helps. Like between ep 2 and 3, or from Rogue One to Star Wars (ep. 4). It all adds to the story. Of course you can see ep 4 without ever seeing or hearing about R1. That’s how it all started after all.
That's my only exposure to it and I feel like I'm a pretty big SW fan.Anders wrote:It’s not from Battlefront 2, it was expanded upon just a little bit in the game. And no one said the rest of your statement, that the movie in any way will be built upon the game.
Oh, of course.Anders wrote:You can love the movies or hate the movies, but you can always just watch the movies, and be entertained that way. I've said this before, but it seems like a hamfisted way to connect the OT to this trilogy. I thought this one was about the new characters.durdencommatyler wrote:Yeah, I feel like retconning has always been such a huge part of the fabric of Star Wars. Taking an issue with Palpatine being back (in a still unknown form/amount) on that basis seems really weird to me.
Or are they?Anders wrote:It’s a nine movie story (plus additional canon). It has to fit together somehow, not just be something completely new. It will still mostly be about the new characters. Everyone else is dead.

Yes. And keep out the high flying acrobatics. I want emotion.Monkey_Driven wrote:I'm really looking forward to the inevitable Rey versus Kylo lightsaber duel. The trilogy has been building up to it. I love how they have not really faced one another before. In Force Awakens Kylo is injured and Rey is very inexperienced. They fought together in TLJ.
So, please no force ghosts. Just make it a one on one fight.
I love you guys. (Although, I don’t mind the acrobatics.)Strat wrote:Yes. And keep out the high flying acrobatics. They need something to propel the plot. MacGuffins galore!lowlight79 wrote:If there is a device called the wayfinder really in this movie. Then I can say with confidence, I will not be happy with this film.
