I listened to the new album probably 7 times in a row?
Can I Go On is the only one ive listened to since then.

I mixed it into my Janet Weiss mix (replaced #1 Must Have... yeah yeah I know deal with it)

BUT... id totally take PJ doing another Binaural type album. If Ed listening to some SK is what it takes im all for it

TCWH is so good, I don't even want to listen to any other S-K album, and I love S-K.

When it comes to the earlier discussion, while parts of Center don't work for me, I would love it if PJ did their version of that album. I just can't really imagine them ever completely swiping the rug out from under their sound like that for the length of a whole record.

Also...
Came up in the NYC punk scene. Interested to hear what it sounds like.

I love RUINS so much. Anybody help me with some more songs that kinda have the same thing going? So far I've pretty much just got "Puffer" by Speedy Ortiz (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5i4zEyTdD3E). I think they go well together.

So the new drummer is Angie Boylan, who’s been in Aye Nako, Freezing Cold & Little Lungs. In addition to the new member they brought on for the NCTL tour (Katie Harkin), Tako from St. Vincent’s band is also with them. Looks like they’re a 5 piece live act going forward. I’m really curious about how the new songs are arranged live, but will try to hold off watching vids til I see them in November.

Im more interested in how they treat the older trio material.
I'd almost say stick to the last 2 albums, maybe a cover or two... and sprinkle in very few of the older stuff.
Modern Girl, Buy Her Candy, and The Swimmer could easily work with no drums
