I was terrified too but managed to download the BOTW DLC packs straight to my switch. Had to add my card details but I deleted the details soon as I did.

you can download the snes app now from the eshop, go to "nintendo online" on the menu to the left of the eshop main screen, you'll find it there

I had to send mye blue control in because of drifting. They fixed it for free on the guarantee. I'm still not sure it's quite 100% though.
