And having done so by placing him at the end of ROTJ it wouldn’t make sense fo him to appear any other way than that.

*he appears like that at the end of Jedi as it was the last the last time he was Anakin. The Jedi. Not the shriveled cinder of Vader.
It didn’t make sense for him to appear that way at all. And you’re wrong. the last time he was Anakin was right before he died. When Luke took his mask off. Or are you suggesting he wasn’t redeemed and was still evil at that moment?

He appears as his form last seen as Anakin. Presumably before he killed the kids.
I’m not wrong your problem is with Lucas. He made the call.
So, he’s not Anakin when Luke takes his mask off? He’s still evil, big bad Vader?

Went reading up on this and found an IMDB page on all the changes

Apparently the blu ray release in 2011 of ROTJ had Has Vader shouting ‘no! No! NO!’ As Palpatine tries to kill Luke. I think I have that on my dvd version too.

Here’s the list. Probably not comprehensive but fuck me there’s so many changes

went to my Google cards to read some headlines and one of the headlines was straight up one of the leaks from reddit. Like, not even a "this might be a spoiler", it just straight up said it. WTFingF.

Yeah that happened me both previous films. Fucking google pop up notifications had me knowing Yoda was in the film before I saw it. Some prick reviewer in Vanity fair mentioned him and spoiled it in his review the minute the bar was released on press. Two days before the films release.

These spoilers are all over YouTube channels so be careful.

I'd be willing to be good money that 98% of the "leaks" out there are total bullshit. I'm sure you're safe. Shrug it off and forget you read it. You won't even remember what it was after the movie comes out.

It'll be like all those people who swore there was a massive lightsaber battle coming in TLJ between Luke and a billion opponents. :shake:

And people SWORE that shit was absolutely happening.

Or like Luke's hand floating in space to open The Force Awakens. Though, that's a bad example because it seems like that was in Arndt's original script. Though, whether JJ ever shot or considered that opening hasn't become a thing until now and TROS speculation has people needing their clone theory to be right. Still...

You get my point. :D

just a reminder if you respond to a post that's hidden with spoiler tag, please spoiler tag your response because sometimes a response can spoil. Thanks.

Also, Team Wease on this Vader stuff, though I understand the real villain is Lucas for making all those changes.

Agree on the Vader stuff and that GL is at the same time both the legendary genius and the destroyer of worlds.

There are a few scenes from TLJ that are important, but there are probably ninety minutes that makes no difference in between TFA and TSA. With JJ back (thankfully), this feels more like a sequel to TFA. Of course Snoke died and Luke disappeared into thin air. Can’t ignore that.

90 minutes seems a bit high.
