Re: The Running Thread
Got some new shoes for my business attire, some pretty nice Cole Haan's. My Achilles soreness in both feet feel a lot better already. I think my old shoes were trashing my feet even though they looked good.

Re: The Running Thread
Went for a small run yesterday. Fighting a cold, so wasn't about to break any speed/distance records, but still felt good

Just got in an 8.3 mile run. Didn't feel the best during it, but feel good that I got it in

Re: The Running Thread
I've really been dragging this week. Been trying to establish 30 miles weekly as my new baseline. I was trashed during a 10k yesterday and didn't want to get easy treadmill in tonight but did it anyway. I put on some Steve Vai. Something about the chaotic way he plays the guitar helps me space out.

Re: The Running Thread
Bad news at the doc today.
He wasn't concerned about the back.
But my left hammy never healed right after last year's mary.
He confirmed a complete avulsion and says I need a full 2 full months of recovery.
Fuck him!

Re: The Running Thread
just updated strava
i got a little sick this week, and i just ran again for the first time yesterday, but also i hiked 3 massive hikes on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th (all over 10km with 800-1200 meter elevation gains) which are not recorded. yesterday was my longest run since june.

I met a sub 2:45 dude at the gym today.
We made tentative plans to meet at the gym Thursday mornings for tempo stuff.
