Pretty average and dull.
Yes.

Saw Beasts of the Southern Wild. Good, but incredibly overrated.

Whoever showed loved for Frost/Nixon, well done. I loved that movie.

Bones Brigade: An Autobiography

Really enjoyed this. These guys were some of my idols growing up. I had a mini Guerrero deck for about 10 years and still wear Half Cabs. I might actually embarrass myself at the skate park this weekend.

But "Moneyball" is fantastic. Brad Pitt was fantastic. The ending put a lump in my throat. And I love movies that can entertain you with dialogue alone, but of course that's the power of Aaron Sorkin.

Really? because he couldnt win and stay there? I thought Pitt was just ok, nothing new or groundbreaking there.

It's more than that. It's turning down a fatter check to stay with family. It's giving up the better chance at success to instead play the loser. Because Billy Beane (in the movie anyway) understood that something isn't worth achieving if the circumstances are easier. It's damn rare to find that sort of integrity and nobility today (thanks for breaking our hearts, Lance Armstrong).

Gángster squad..it was fun, i mean the story is pretty obvious but there is a great work from the art department and josh brolin and robert patrick are just badass.
I didnt liked the photography at all, too clean, top sharp you could see the digital in most of the action sequences...it took me out of the story a few
times...kinda like the michael mann movie work johnny
Depp.
Good use of violence here, overall a flawed but fun pulp movie ...
