If the playoffs started today, Milwaukee would be in with a -2 run difference. Every other team in the playoffs is +100, 3 are +200. Crazy season for the Crew

It’s the 12th inning on a school night.
Crazy game. Crazy comeback. Crazy finish. Crazy win. What a season.
the yankees are gonna end it so hard
It’s still been the most enjoyable season in 25+ years.

It makes sense that you would put this much stock in regular season baseball.

Stock? What stock? Appreciating and enjoying regular season baseball is some kind of sin to you? You are fucking stupid.

No one said sin, Joshua.

Question for somebody who knows these types of things:

Let’s assume Oakland gets the first AL wild card spot and wins the wild card game. What are the chances they have a home game the weekend of October 4-6?

zero

Theyd be the road team the 4th and 5th. 6th is the travel day.

I am hoping for a bit of chaos in the AL--i.e., CLE and TB finishing with the same record so they have to have a play-in for the play-in. I know Cleveland probably isn't catching Minnesota, but my dream scenario is that all three of those teams finish with the same record, so that CLE and MIN have to play a 163rd game for the division and then the loser has to turn around and play TB the next day for the last wild card spot.

Braves got their 97th win of the season last night over Kansas City, a 100 loss team. It was the first time Atlanta beat them to avoid a 4-0 season sweep.

Perhaps even more impressive, LieutenantDans7 actually got 4 hits. That's almost a month output for him in a day.

Felix Hernandez is quietly “retiring” from the Mariners tonight.

Throw wins out and this guy is a 3-4 time Cy Young recipient.

*Edit: throw WINS out. The fkn offense never scored when he was on the mound. All time low run support.
