I listened to 'The Joshua Tree' straight through on the commute home yesterday... still a work of art.

so twitter says that sixnine is not long for this world. I barely know the dude and am so far removed from knowing who Jim Jones is that I thought the "trending" was for another suicide group.

I still listen to their earlier albums quite often.

On the random note, the guitar riff in Springsteen's Thundercrack reminds me an awful lot of Skynyrd's Every Mother's Son and even moreso when the Drive-By Truckers cover it. Perhaps that should be the other way around as Thundercrack was recorded first but I heard it later.

I heard a clip of an interview this morning where some artist said she is quitting music because she realized teenagers listen to her. Didn’t catch the name, didn’t recognize the voice. Miley Cyrus maybe?
