There are two concrete things happening now. EV has a show to play this weekend, and the mysterious t-shirt is coming out. Once both are done, we either know more, or we have come to a standstill.

I’m going all in on the standstill.

By the way, the Chili Peppers in Singapore last weekend showed how a band can hate each other yet still put on a show.

I also take back my dreadful comments made about EV earlier in this thread, it was drink and frustration induced. A heady and unedifying mix. Sorry.

I think the fact they have lined up “a month of content” to celebrate 10 years of Backspacer is a great indication that nothing is happening soon on the new album front.
